With the official start of spring just nineteen days away, it’s high time to get your wardrobe in check for sunny season. Luckily, your friends at Fashion Fabrics Club have put together a short list of easy-chic pieces that you can add to your collection right now that will carry you straight through summer.
It’s time to dust off those spring-perfect denim jackets! Use them now as an added layer under your winter coat, and come spring when the weather warms a bit, it will be the perfect top layer over sundresses and jeans and a T.
With tights and a sweater, the corduroy skirt is right on for right now. Come spring however, it’s an unexpected twist with bare legs and a simple cotton T making for an effortless look you can count on in a pinch.
Crepe Wide Legs
Especially when done up in a light-hued neutral shade like camel or light gray, a pair of high-waisted crepe wide-leg trousers can take on the seasonal transition with ease. For now, pair with a sweater and booties and later, once the weather warms, it’ll make an interesting twist with a casual T and sandals.
Floral Chiffon Midi
While we’re not quite ready to break out the sundresses, we can start easing in with a floaty midi skirt in springy floral chiffon. Super cute with booties and a sweater for the current temps and the perfect pick with a tank and barely-there heels come spring.
It’s easy to fall into a monochromatic routine when battling the lingering winter weeks, but an easy way to kick that habit is by venturing into some classic pattern play. Our favorite? Plaid.
